Do you have valuable information or best practice cases you would like to share with other primes and subcontractors? Check out a new section for potential prime and sub-contractors to begin discussions on the DWP Work Programme Framework competition and the Work Programme itself.
A section of the website is intended as an area for potential prime and sub-contractors to begin discussions on the DWP Work Programme Framework competition and the Work Programme itself.
The Framework Forum has been developed in association with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). DWP are currently developing a Web Portal as part of the Merlin Standard project. What is this all about?
The Framework Forum has been developed in association with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). DWP are currently developing a Web Portal as part of the Merlin Standard project. The Merlin Standard project has been designed as a tool to ensure the welfare to work industry builds and manages healthy and high performing supply chains.
The Merlin Web Portal will be a forum for sharing information on the Work Programme and reducing the process burden for primes and their supply chain partners in building partnerships. It is anticipated that it will be launched in Autumn 2010. In the mean time, DWP have endorsed the Framework Forum, run by Indus Delta and sponsored by Inclusion, as a short-term solution for an industry keen to begin talking:
"DWP is aiming to have the Work Programme in place nationally by the Summer of 2011 and is keen to back initiatives and technology that support the sharing of information and help new entrants and existing suppliers expand their supply chains. We recognise the need for those of you who are interested in being involved in the Framework and the Work Programme to begin partnerships discussions at the earliest possible stage and recommend the Framework Forum as the place to do this."
How do I get started?
Indus Delta are keen for users to post as many comments to the Framework Forum as they like - and are happy for listings to include calls for delivery partners and expressions of interest. Users should note that if they would like to feature longer, larger and more detailed advertisements on other areas of the Indus Delta website, including our front page and the jobs section, they are more than welcome to do so.
