The Green Manager

The Green Manager is a new type of programme designed to engage your managers not just to become better leaders but also to actively engage in the Green Agenda and the drive for sustainability.

 

The 3 day programme focuses on three key areas of leadership and managerial performance.

Day 1 focuses on Leadership, looking at the following:
Leadership skills and qualities
Leadership styles
Personal Inventory of leadership skills and action plan development

Day 2 examines the Green Agenda, specifically:
Understanding the roles of sustainability
Impact of the operation on the environment
Exploring ways of improving sustainability
Optimising resource usage

This day will be supported by specialist guest speakers and followed up with the opportunity to access additional funding to support ‘green change'.

Day 3 considers the changes that the Green Agenda will bring:
Understanding Change Psychology
Leading Change Successfully
Planning for Effective Change
Templates for Change

This programme is accredited through the Institute of Leadership and Management.
