The Green Team Leader
The Green Team Leader is a programme specially designed to engage with your team leaders to actively engage in the Green Agenda and the drive for sustainability and to improve their leadership and management skills.
The 3 day programme focuses on three key areas of team leadership and managerial performance.
Day 1 focuses on Leadership Foundations, looking at the following:
Understanding the leadership role
Responsibility and accountability
Developing yourself as a leader
Day 2 examines the Green Agenda, specifically:
Understanding the importance of energy and resource conservation
The role of Health and Safety
Exploring ways of improving green practice
Optimising resource usage
This day will be supported by specialist guest speakers and followed up with the opportunity to access additional funding to support ‘green change'.
Day 3 considers the changes that the Green Agenda will bring:
Understanding change psychology
Supporting change successfully
Gaining buy in effective change
Personal strategies for change
This programme is accredited through the Institute of Leadership and Management
