This paper outlines the emerging vision for skills and explores some key areas to seek further views. It sets the context for the technical funding system and methodology consultation – A Simplified Further Education and Skills Funding System and Methodology – that is being launched in parallel.  A  full strategy for skills will be published after the Spending Review in October which will set out in more detail how it is intended to support  learning and skills priorities. This will accompany a BIS paper setting out how they will create the conditions for sustainable growth which will be published at about the same time.  To read and respond  Click here
